Infection Control

Infection control is highly significant and beneficial to our patients and staff.

For the safety of our patients and dental team, we follow all infection control procedures established by the: Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC).

These measures include:

  • Utilizing gloves and face masks
  • Utilizing disinfectant hand soap
  • Using an autoclave device to sterilize all equipment prior to use with each patient. An autoclave kills viruses and bacteria using steam, heat and pressure.
  • Utilizing disposable materials
  • Thoroughly disinfecting all countertops and surfaces

The best protection against disease is information. We believe the more you know about our infection control procedures, the more comfortable you will feel about your care. If you have any questions about our infection control procedures, please feel free to ask Dr. Franco.
